My fitness journey has been up and down this past year. After my divorce I decided to use my extra time to get back into shape, and got super fit! However, I was on anti depressants due to the trauma of it all which started to make me gain weight rapidly. Since, it has been a struggle to get it back off and has been mentally draining sometimes… Especially when my job is taking photos. I constantly have found myself comparing my body to others on social media which can really make you feel horrible sometimes. Just dropping by to tell everyone that you’re beautiful the way you are and social media isn’t always what it seems. Learn to love yourself at every size and stage because you have one body and one life. Try not to be too hard on yourself… easier said than done I know. ❤️💪🏼

A lot of people ask me how often I work out when they want advice! And my advice is don’t just jump right in and start exercising five days a week -- that’s a recipe for disaster!! It’s better that you gradually work up to exercising several days per week while you see how your body responds. And then increase amount of time at gym and pace SLOWLY! Be kind to yourself! Your body will be thankful 😘
