Flight Istanbul – Kiev was delayed, therefore I missed the plane to my hometown. I was offered the transfer to the hotel to stay the night at; also they have given me a couple of sandwiches and bottles of water :) Next morning. Airport. Take-off. At the halfway the jet turns around and heads back to Kyiv due to weather conditions. Flight status – canceled. I decided to join guys which I met in the plane. They were so generous to give me the lift to my city as they had a car and actually did it for free. By the way, the airline I was using promised to return the cost of the ticket for that flight. My universe wished to please me with such savings. After having plenty of sandwiches with some tea I continued the journey to my hometown. During this whole trip we haven’t crashed into anyone, tires didn’t burst and car did not get stuck. Well that’s it. With my kind of luck such things happened to me not once nor twice.
